Runswick Bay

This is a watercolour painting (20 x 12cms) of Runswick Bay on the Yorkshire coast. A beautiful little village with red-roofed houses nestled under the cliffs and looking toward a lovely sandy beach. This view was taken from the top of the cliff whilst staying at the Cliffemount Hotel.

It was a beautiful, peaceful sunny morning with only a few seagulls wheeling around and a single small boat in the bay.
